The Contractor Association of Kaduna State has congratulated the newly appointed Accountant-General of Kaduna State, describing his emergence as a recognition of professionalism, integrity, and dedication to public financial management.
In a congratulatory message issued on behalf of its Executive Council and members, the association praised the appointment as a well-deserved elevation, expressing confidence that the new Accountant-General would strengthen transparency, accountability, and efficiency in the management of the state’s financial resources.
According to the association, the appointment reflects the government’s trust in the Accountant-General’s wealth of experience and proven track record in financial administration.
The contractors noted that effective financial management remains critical to the successful execution of development projects and the overall growth of Kaduna State, adding that they are optimistic about the positive impact his leadership will bring to the state’s financial system.
“As the umbrella body representing indigenous, non-indigenous, and foreign contractors operating in Kaduna State, we look forward to a cordial and productive working relationship with your office,” the statement said.
The association emphasized that contractors play a pivotal role in delivering the infrastructure needed to drive economic growth and improve the living standards of citizens across the state.
It further expressed hope that under the new Accountant-General’s stewardship, processes relating to payments, reconciliation, and financial compliance would continue to improve, thereby creating a more conducive environment for project implementation and stakeholder engagement.
The contractors also reaffirmed their commitment to supporting government policies aimed at accelerating development and enhancing service delivery.
They pledged their cooperation in advancing the vision of Governor Uba Sani’s administration for a greater and more prosperous Kaduna State, stressing that collaboration between government institutions and the contracting community remains essential for sustainable development.
