Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has returned to Nigeria after participating in the just-concluded 81st United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 81) in New York, United States.
Governor Radda touched down at the Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano, on Monday, marking the end of his international engagements at the global gathering.
The governor’s participation at UNGA 81 provided an opportunity for Katsina State to engage with international partners, development institutions and other stakeholders on issues relating to peace, security, economic development, investment and human capital development.
His engagements were also focused on exploring partnerships capable of supporting the state’s development priorities and strengthening ongoing efforts under the administration’s “Building Your Future” agenda.
The governor’s return is expected to bring fresh perspectives and renewed partnerships that could further support the implementation of key programmes across various sectors of Katsina State.
Radda’s administration has continued to emphasise strategic partnerships and external support as part of efforts to complement government resources and accelerate development across the state.
With his return from New York, attention now shifts to translating the outcomes of the international engagements into practical initiatives capable of improving the lives of the people of Katsina.
The governor is expected to continue driving the administration’s development agenda, with particular attention to programmes designed to expand opportunities, strengthen public services and promote sustainable growth across the state.
His return to the country comes as the Katsina government continues its push to consolidate achievements recorded under the Building Your Future agenda while opening new fronts for development through local and international collaboration.
For Katsina, the message from the governor’s return is clear: the global conversations have ended, but the work of turning partnerships and ideas into tangible benefits for citizens continues at home.
