Former President Goodluck Jonathan has hinted at the possibility of contesting the 2027 presidential election after being urged by supporters to return to the race.
Responding to calls for him to run, Jonathan said presidential politics was not something to be approached lightly, adding that he would consult widely before taking any decision.
“You ask me to come and contest the next election. The presidential race is not a computer game, but I have heard you, and I will consult widely,” the former president said.
His remarks have further fueled speculations about a possible political comeback ahead of the 2027 general elections.
