KATSINA — The Deputy Governor of Katsina State, His Excellency Faruk Lawal Jobe, has expressed profound appreciation to friends, family members, political associates and well-wishers who graced the Wedding Fatiha of his son, Muhammad Faruk, in Abuja.
The wedding, which was held on Friday, October 2, 2026, attracted prominent political leaders, government officials, business personalities and other distinguished guests from Katsina State and beyond.
In a message of appreciation issued on behalf of the Jobe family, the Deputy Governor thanked all those who attended the ceremony, offered prayers and extended their goodwill and support to the family.
Jobe particularly appreciated the Executive Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, PhD, CON, for his presence and support at the memorable occasion.
He also acknowledged the presence and goodwill of former Kano State Governor, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje; former Katsina State Governor, Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari; Minister of Agriculture, Senator Abubakar Kyari; Deputy Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo; and Deputy Governor of Borno State, Umar Usman Kadafur.
Others appreciated include the Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, Alhaji Nasiru Yahaya; businessman Alhaji Dahiru Barau Mangal; former Minister, Arc. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa; former Katsina Deputy Governor, QS Mannir Yakubu; Senator Muntari Dandutse; members of the National and State Assemblies; members of the Katsina State Executive Council; local government council chairmen; permanent secretaries; heads of government agencies; captains of industry and other distinguished guests.
The Deputy Governor said their presence added immense joy, warmth and significance to the celebration, describing the support as a gesture the Jobe family would continue to cherish.
He expressed gratitude to everyone who travelled from different parts of the country to identify with the family during the important occasion.
“His Excellency and his family remain eternally grateful for your kind gesture, prayers, support and presence,” the statement said.
The Deputy Governor prayed that Almighty Allah would reward all the guests abundantly and bless their families.
The appreciation message was issued by the Wedding Organising Committee on behalf of the Jobe family.
