In a bold move to address the electricity crisis at Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, PhD, CON, has approved the immediate release of over N314 million for critical power restoration projects.
Governor’s directive includes the prompt commencement of work to restore electricity at the university, promising swift action to resolve the issue.
The approved sum of N314,605,550 will fund two key electricity projects aimed at ensuring stable and reliable power supply to the institution.
Governor Radda emphasized the importance of completing the projects in record time, underscoring his administration’s commitment to improving infrastructure and creating a conducive learning environment for students.
This decisive step comes as part of Governor Radda’s broader efforts to revitalize educational institutions and foster development across Katsina State.
