A fire incident erupted at Terminal 2 of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) in Lagos on Sunday morning, prompting an immediate emergency response by the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).
FAAN confirmed the incident in a statement posted on its official X account, assuring the public that there were no casualties or loss of life.
