A Chief Magistrate’s Court in Ado-Ekiti has remanded the Vice-Chairman of Ilejemeje Local Government Area, Grace Ogunleye, at the Ado-Ekiti Correctional Centre over allegations of conspiracy and self-kidnapping.
Ogunleye was arraigned on Wednesday alongside three other defendants on charges linked to an alleged plot in which she reportedly staged her own abduction.
The case has drawn significant attention across Ekiti State, with the local government official facing accusations that have sparked public debate and raised questions about the circumstances surrounding the alleged incident.
