A bizarre theft has rocked Ghana after a suspect, Ebenezer Frimpong, was arrested for allegedly stealing an armoured vehicle belonging to the Ghana Police Service.
The incident unfolded at Nkawie Market in the Ashanti Region when the driver briefly stepped away, leaving the engine running—an opening the suspect allegedly exploited to drive off with the high-security vehicle.
Security operatives swiftly launched a manhunt, tracking the stolen vehicle along the Nkawie–Mim route before intercepting and arresting the suspect near Mim.
Authorities confirmed that the armoured vehicle was recovered intact, while investigations continue into the audacious incident that has stunned residents.
