The Director General of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Dr. Mohammed Bulama, on Thursday paid a condolence visit to the NTA Maiduguri Zonal Network Centre following the death of the Acting Zonal Director, Muhammad Adam Ndrimbula, who passed away on Tuesday in Maiduguri after a brief illness.

Dr. Bulama, who led a delegation of senior management staff from the corporation, was received on arrival by the Acting Zonal Director of the NTA Maiduguri Network Centre, Malam Aminu Dutse, alongside members of the management team.

Speaking during the visit, the FRCN Director General described the death of the late Muhammad Adam Ndrimbula as a huge loss, not only to the NTA family but also to the entire media industry in Nigeria.

Dr. Bulama said he received the sad news shortly after arriving Maiduguri and immediately reached out to the Director General of the NTA to convey his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and management of the organisation.

According to him, the late Muhammad Adam Ndrimbula was a committed professional whose wealth of experience, credibility, and dedication to duty would be greatly missed.

“It is indeed a painful and irreplaceable loss. We worked together as colleagues and brothers in the media industry. His contributions to broadcasting development and institutional growth will continue to be remembered,” he said.

The FRCN boss prayed Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus. He also prayed for the NTA family, colleagues, and immediate family members to have the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

Dr. Bulama further urged members of staff of the organisation to remain steadfast and continue rendering quality service to society, noting that the NTA remains a vital institution in Nigeria’s national development.

The FRCN Director General was accompanied on the visit by the General Manager of Radio Nigeria Peace FM Maiduguri, Malam Abba Dikko, alongside other senior directors from the corporation’s headquarters in Abuja.

In his response, the Acting Zonal Director of the NTA Maiduguri Network Centre, Malam Aminu Dutse, expressed appreciation to the FRCN Director General and his delegation for the visit, describing it as a strong demonstration of solidarity during a difficult moment for the organisation.

He noted that Dr. Bulama was among the first top public officials to personally visit and condole with the management and staff of the station.

Malam Dutse described the late Muhammad Adam Ndrimbula as a hardworking and dedicated administrator who remained committed to duty at all times, often working late into the night to address operational challenges within the station and other broadcast facilities across the state.

He added that the deceased played a significant role in upgrading and transforming the operations of the zonal network centre through his selfless service and leadership qualities.

The Acting Zonal Director prayed Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the late broadcaster and reward his lifetime of service with eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus.
