Chief of Staff’s Wife Maijeddah Laid to Rest

…..Governor Radda Leads Katsina Delegation

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, on Wednesday led a high-powered government delegation to the burial (Janazah) of the late Hajia Hauwa (Maijeddah) Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir, wife of the Chief of Staff, Government House, Katsina.

The Janazah prayer was held at the GRA Mosque at about 1:12 p.m., shortly after the Zuhr prayer, where family members, government officials, and sympathizers gathered to pay their last respects.

The late Hajia Maijeddah was later laid to rest at about 1:45 p.m. at Gidan Dawa Cemetery, Katsina.

Islamic clerics and other religious leaders offered prayers, asking Almighty Allah (SWT) to forgive her shortcomings, grant her Aljannatul Firdaus, and give the bereaved family the strength, patience, and fortitude to bear the loss.

The delegation included the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Abdullahi Garba Faskari; the Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, Hon. Nasir Yahaya Daura.

The Principal Private Secretary to the Governor, Hon. Abdullahi Aliyu Turaji; the Senator representing Funtua Zone, Hon. Muntari Dandutse; and the Head of Service, Alhaji Falalu Bawale.

Also in attendance were members of the Katsina State House of Assembly, members of the State Executive Council, the Chief Judge of Katsina State, the Grand Khadi, senior government officials, and other dignitaries from within and outside the state.

Party members, relatives, friends, associates of the deceased, as well as community and religious leaders, were also present to offer prayers for the repose of her soul.
