Hon. Usman Madi Baderi has congratulated Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, and APC governorship candidate, Engr. Mustapha Gubio, mni, on the occasion of Eid al Kabir, while praying for lasting peace, unity and the party’s success ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a statement issued to journalists in Maiduguri on Tuesday, Baderi described Eid al Kabir as a season of sacrifice, obedience and compassion, urging residents of Borno State to uphold the virtues of tolerance, peaceful coexistence and collective responsibility for societal growth.
He praised Governor Zulum for what he called his unwavering commitment to good governance, security restoration, humanitarian support and infrastructural development across communities affected by insurgency.
According to him, the governor’s leadership has continued to restore hope and confidence among the people of the state.
Baderi also commended Engr. Mustapha Gubio, describing him as a loyal APC stalwart and grassroots politician with the experience and vision to sustain the achievements of the current administration.
He expressed confidence that the APC in Borno State would remain united and formidable as preparations gather momentum for the 2027 polls.
The former lawmaker further prayed for enduring peace, improved security, economic prosperity and bumper harvests during the rainy season, while seeking divine blessings for farmers, traders, artisans and civil servants across the state.
He wished Governor Zulum, Engr. Gubio, APC members and the people of Borno a peaceful and memorable Eid al Kabir celebration filled with progress and renewed hope.
