Former Labour Party chieftain and political commentator Kenneth Okonkwo has identified President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi as the three prominent figures in the race for Nigeria’s 2027 presidency.
However, Okonkwo appeared to draw a distinction between the three, suggesting that while Tinubu and Atiku should be regarded as serious contenders, Obi’s political activities are closer to those of a content creator than a formidable presidential challenger.
