Zulum launches Rep Talba’s palliative to 1,500 constituents

Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, has launched a distribution of palliative provided by the member representing Marte, Monguno and Nganzai at the House of Representatives, Engr Bukar Talba, on Sunday.

Governor Zulum who is on the entourage of Mr President to Qatar was represented by the Deputy Governornor, Umar Usman Kadafur, at the occasion.

Over 1,500 constituents from three local government areas of Marte, Monguno, and Nganzai benefited from the distribution which took place at the state mechanical workshop.

Each of the three local government councils has 500 people that received a bag of rice, a bag of maize grain and N20,000 cash.

Speaking at the occasion, Governor Zulum commended the lawmaker for his effort in alleviating the suffering of the people in his constituency.

Delivering his address, Engr Bukar Talba expressed his gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima and Governor Babagana Umara Zulum for being role models and for providing the leadership required for the development of the country.

In their separate remarks, Borno State APC chairman, Bello Ayuba, and the senator representing northern Borno, Barrister Mohammed Tahir Monguno, described the lawmaker’s gesture as unprecedented.
