The Vice Chancellor Borno State University, Professor Umar kyari Sandabe was on Sunday at his home town of BAMA on a thank you and farewell visit on the Shehu of BAMA, Alh. Umar Kyari Umar El-kanemi.
In a remark, Professor Sandabe said, he was at the palace to formally inform the Royal father that, his tenure as pioneer Vice Chancellor of BOSU has ended.
He therefore thanked the Royal father for his support and fatherly advise while in office and hopes that such will continue at wherever he may find himself.
In his response, the Shehu of BAMA, Alh. Umar kyari Umar El-kanemi, thanked the outgoing VC for the visit and achievements recorded during his five years tenure.
The Shehu also applauded the VC’s modest contribution to the socio-economic and educational development of Bama Local Government.
The Shehu wished him success in his future endeavors.
Prayers for peace in the state and the Shehu was offered by BOSU chief Imam, Sheikh Mohammed Abubakar Kachallah.
The VC was accompanied on the visit by management staff of the university.
