Tinubu Vows Swift Completion of Abuja-Kano Road: No Room for Delays

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reaffirmed his commitment to the speedy completion of the Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano Road project, declaring that no contractor will be allowed to delay its progress. Speaking during an inspection visit to the project site alongside the Minister of Works, Senator Dave Umahi, and members of the National Assembly Committees on Works, Tinubu emphasized the importance of the project as a vital artery connecting the Federal Capital Territory to northern states.

“The President is unwavering in his determination to see this road completed. We cannot afford to wait another three years for its construction,” the President’s representatives stated.

Senator Umahi assured that the Ministry of Works is working with a 14-month timeline for completion, expressing confidence in the team’s dedication. Tinubu praised the collaboration between stakeholders and urged detractors to put politics aside, stressing that the project serves a national purpose.

“Nigerians can hold the Ministry accountable. The President has provided all the necessary support, and this road will be delivered,” he added.

The visit underscored the administration’s resolve to deliver critical infrastructure projects within record time.
