Gov Radda Breaks Ground for Kofar Soro-Kofar Guga Road Dualisation

The Executive Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, PhD, has officially commenced the Kofar Soro-Kofar Guga dual carriageway road, which spans 1.25 kilometers, and the Galadanci-Hassan Usman Ciroma House-CPS spur road, covering 0.2 kilometers.

These projects, valued at N3.55 billion, are a crucial part of the urban renewal initiatives led by his administration. The extensive scope of this project includes the installation of solar street lights, the relocation of water facilities and electric poles, and the provision of compensation for affected households or individuals.

The state government has already disbursed 40% of the mobilization fund to the contractor, totaling N1,445,781,313.75, demonstrating a strong commitment to expeditiously executing the project.

The dualization of the Kofar Soro – Kofar Guga route aims to streamline traffic flow, reduce congestion, and improve overall safety and efficiency for commuters.
