Super Eagles Quit AFCON Clash: ‘Threats to Life’ in Libya

In an unprecedented move, Nigeria’s Super Eagles have withdrawn from Tuesday’s crucial AFCON qualifying match against Libya, citing “threats to life” and “hostilities” from the host country since their arrival on Sunday evening.
