As the holy month of Ramadan approaches, several northern states in Nigeria have allocated a substantial sum of N28.3 billion for Ramadan feeding programs.
Katsina State leads the initiative with a budget allocation of N10 billion, followed by Sokoto with N6.7 billion, and Kano with N6 billion.
Other states contributing to this noble cause include Jigawa with N2.83 billion, Kebbi with N1.5 billion, Niger with N976 million, and Yobe with N178 million.
