The Management of Federal University Dutsin-Ma (FUDMA), Katsina State, has refuted claims circulating in the media that its Vice Chancellor, Prof. Armaya’u Hamisu Bichi, OON, has been summoned by the House of Representatives Committee on Public Petitions.
In response to a story published by Abc News, the university clarified that neither the Vice Chancellor nor the institution has officially received any invitation regarding the alleged appearance on September 18, 2024. The university expressed surprise at learning about the matter from social media and emphasized that Prof. Bichi holds great respect for the National Assembly and would honor any formal request.
Addressing allegations involving a former staff member, Shehu Abubakar Tadda, FUDMA reiterated that the Vice Chancellor played no role in Tadda’s dismissal, which was handled by the Governing Council after due process.
