Katsina Police Host Armed Forces College Team, Push Stronger Security Synergy

The Katsina State Police Command has received participants of Senior Course 48 of the Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Jaji, on a strategic study tour aimed at strengthening inter-agency collaboration and operational understanding among security agencies.

The delegation, led by Brigadier General K. Rabiu, visited the Katsina State Police Command Headquarters alongside the Commander of 17 Brigade, Katsina, Brigadier General M.I. Ibrahim, members of the college’s directing staff, and 62 course participants, including international students from The Gambia, Côte d’Ivoire, and Liberia.

The team was received by the Commissioner of Police, Katsina State Command, CP Ali Umar Fage, alongside senior officers and members of the command’s management team.

Speaking during the visit, Brigadier General Rabiu commended the police commissioner for the warm reception and hospitality extended to the delegation.

He explained that the study tour formed part of the academic and research activities of Senior Course 48 and was designed to expose participants to practical security operations and enhance cooperation among security agencies nationwide.

The team leader also sought continued support from the police command toward achieving the objectives of the exercise.

In his remarks, CP Ali Umar Fage reaffirmed the command’s commitment to supporting the study tour and promoting stronger collaboration among security agencies in tackling emerging security threats.

The police commissioner stressed that synergy among security institutions remained critical to maintaining peace and stability in Katsina State and across the country.

The visit featured interactive sessions between the participants and police officers, exchange of plaques, and a group photograph session.
