Promptly responding to intelligence, the Sabuwa Divisional Headquarters deployed a formidable team, including operatives from Operation Sharan Daji and the Katsina State Community Watch Corps.
The clash, reminiscent of a wild west showdown, saw the assailants outmatched and their plans foiled.
While the battle claimed one injury, with Murtala Sabi’u bravely facing a gunshot wound now under medical care, the recovery of a walkie-talkie and a military-grade hand grenade underscores the gravity of the situation averted.
