Katsina Immigration Decorates Newly Promoted Officers in Grand Ceremony

In a momentous ceremony held at the Katsina State Command Headquarters, Comptroller of Immigration Service, Mohammed Adamu Mahmoud, PCC, FCILRM, CNA, proudly decorated newly promoted officers and men to their elevated ranks.

The event, a landmark in the command’s history, witnessed officers receiving accolades for their dedication and service, with dignitaries from various security agencies in attendance.

During his speech, Comptroller Mahmoud congratulated the newly promoted officers, acknowledging the pivotal role of the Comptroller General of Immigration Service, Kemi Nanna Nandap, PCC, FSM, for her visionary leadership in enhancing officers’ welfare.

He emphasized that promotion is not just recognition but a call to higher responsibilities, urging the promoted officers to embrace the challenges ahead with determination.

“Your promotion is a testament to your past achievements, but now is the time to strive for even greater heights.

Leadership is about inspiring others, and your new roles demand commitment and exemplary conduct,” Mahmoud stated, while also encouraging those who were not promoted to remain patient and steadfast.

Among the dignitaries gracing the occasion were the Comptroller of the Nigeria Correctional Service, now Assistance Comptroller General of Correctional Service, and representatives from the Federal Fire Service and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.

Families, friends, and well-wishers added warmth to the event, celebrating the officers’ accomplishments.

Speaking on behalf of the newly promoted officers, DCI Sulaimanu Yusuf expressed deep gratitude to Almighty Allah, the Comptroller General, and the Katsina State Command for their unwavering support.

He described the promotion as a motivator to work harder, urging his colleagues to maintain loyalty and dedication in their duties.

The ceremony marks a new chapter for the Katsina State Command as it strengthens its ranks with fresh leadership and renewed commitment to service.
