The Katsina State Government has allocated the sum of N15.9 Billion to the
Education sector in its propose 2025 fiscal year.
“The Amount allocated to the Education Sector is 15.8 percent of the proposed
2025 Budget”.
Bello Hussaini Kagara, the Katsina State Commissioner of Budget and Economic
Planning disclosed this during the Annual Budget Breakdown on Wednesday, in
Katsina.
According to him, the Katsina Government had given top priority to the Education
sector and that was the reason it received lion share of the Budget.
He revealed that the state government had made all necessary arrangements to
establish more primary, secondary, schools in the state.
“The State Government is committed to the established of three special secondary
schools in the state”
“One of the Secondary schools will be established in each senatorial zone in the
state” he said”.
The Commissioner said that the state government was committed to boosting the
education sector in the state.
He commended the State Governor for his concern to the Education Sector which
is the back bone for all development in the world.
