The Katsina State Police Command, alongside military forces, Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), vigilant community members, and the Katsina State Community Watch Corps (KSCWC), executed a decisive operation at Madachi village in Sabuwa LGA, Katsina State.
Their target? Suspected bandits threatening peace and security in the region.
On April 19th, 2024, at the crack of dawn, this coalition of law enforcement heroes embarked on an intelligence-driven mission.
As they approached Madachi village, their presence was met with hostility as suspected armed bandits launched a fierce attack.
Undeterred, our brave defenders swiftly countered the assault, apprehending two suspects in the process.
But the victory didn’t end there. Amidst the chaos, one suspected bandit met his match, neutralized by the swift and decisive actions of our forces.
Additionally, two bandit-operated motorcycles, key to their nefarious activities, were seized as vital evidence.
The Commissioner of Police praised the unwavering courage and professionalism displayed by the operatives, affirming the command’s unwavering dedication to safeguarding the lives and properties of Katsina’s residents.
