In what appears to be a welcome gift to the new Commissioner for Youth And Sports , Hon Mustapha Dr Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso,
the Kano Pillars fc today thrashed Gombe United four nil in Day 31 match encounter played at Sani Abacha Stadium Kofa Mata in Kano.
In appreciation of the wonderful performance by the Sai Masu Gida team, the Commissioner, Mustapha Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso promised additional feeding package for the players and other staff during away matches by the club.
Similarly, the Commissioner has presented a motivation package for goal scorers during the match.
The match was keenly watched by his counterpart, the Special Adviser for Sports,Hon Yusuf Imam(Ogan Boye) Hon Saifullah Hassan and other top officials of Government.
In his remarks, the Executive Chairman of Kano Pillars, Alh Babangida Umar Little thanked the new Commissioner of sports, Hon Mustapha Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso for his zeal to revive the prestige of sports in Kano.
Kano Pillars fc Captain, Rabi’u Ali Pele received one hundred thousand naira man of the match award from Maltina Company Limited.
With this victory, Kano Pillars now occupies 8th position with 44 points.
