Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Disu, has arrived at the Niger State Government House in Minna to commiserate with Governor Umaru Bago and the people of the state over the death of 37 suspected illegal miners while in the custody of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
Disu arrived at the Government House on Friday as part of efforts to convey his condolences following the incident, which has generated concern over the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
