Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris, has commissioned the newly completed Renewed Hope Agenda State Office Complex in Birnin Kebbi, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to supporting the organisation’s grassroots mobilisation efforts across the state.
The commissioning ceremony drew commendation from the Kebbi State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Agenda, Alhaji Sambo Aliyu Gwandu, who disclosed that Governor Idris personally financed the construction of the secretariat.
According to Gwandu, the governor approved funding far above the project’s initial cost estimate, ensuring its successful completion despite rising prices of building materials.
He described the gesture as a demonstration of Governor Idris’ commitment to the ideals of the Renewed Hope Agenda and his unwavering support for the organisation.
The coordinator also expressed appreciation for the governor’s continued confidence in the group, assuring him of the loyalty and dedication of its members across Kebbi State.
Gwandu said the organisation has established an extensive grassroots structure spanning the state, local government areas, wards and polling units, positioning it to mobilise support for both Governor Idris’ administration and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Commissioning the facility, Governor Idris pledged the continued support of the Kebbi State Government, promising to provide an enabling environment for the organisation to carry out its activities effectively.
The governor also commended the state coordinator for assembling what he described as a competent leadership structure across the local governments, expressing confidence that the team would strengthen grassroots engagement and further advance the Renewed Hope Agenda in Kebbi State.
