FGN Secures N200M To Senators For Palliatives -Senator Yar’adua

Federal Government has secured Two Hundred Million Naira to each Senator to purchase food items and be distributed as palliative in their respective Senatorial Districts.

The Senator representing Katsina Central Senatorial District AbdulAziz Musa ‘Yar’adua disclosed this on Sunday while addressing his constituents at Kangiwa Square, Katsina.

The Senator explained that on his part,the purchase of the food items is on course and hopefully be ready for distribution within the eleven local government areas of the District before the Ramadan period.

Sernator ‘Yar’adua also disclosed that through his efforts, over 100 youths secured recruitment into the Nigerian Army and just last week he secured offers of employment to 16 youths at Code of Conduct Bureau, adding that In Sha Allah the up coming recruitment into the Nigerian Police Force, Air Force ,and Fire Services would also be taken care of in due course.

According to him, besides the assistance rendered to people with special needs and other vulnerable, many students of tertiary institutions have benefitted from his scholarship gesture and still the program is on course.

The Senator emphasized his commitment to empowering those engaged in various small businesses and those seeking capital to start one business or the other that would assist them to be self-reliant.

He therefore urged people to conduct themselves accordingly and imbibe the spirit of togetherness by supporting programs and policies of both the state and federal governments.

In an interview, some of his constituents registered their satisfaction and appreciation for the steadfastness of the Senator, advising people to always appreciate good deeds rather than criticism.
