Edo Police Bans Unauthorized Phone Searches, CP Issues Strong Warning

In a recent press release from the Edo Police Command, a ban has been placed on the unauthorized searching of citizens’ phones by police operatives. This directive comes with a stern warning from CP Edo, who has instructed officers and men to cease this act immediately.

The decision to ban phone searches aligns with directives from the Inspector General of Police (IGP), who has directed Zonal AIGs, Command, and Formations CPs to closely monitor their personnel and ensure compliance with this new policy.
