KANKIA — The Special Adviser to the Katsina State Governor on Power and Energy, Dr. Hafiz Ibrahim Ahmed, has renewed his community outreach in Kankia Local Government Area with visits to bereaved families, sick residents and elderly members of the community.
Dr. Hafiz undertook the visits yesterday as part of his continued engagement with residents, particularly those facing difficult moments arising from the loss of loved ones, illness and old age.
During the condolence visits, the Special Adviser expressed sympathy with families who had recently lost relatives, offering words of comfort and solidarity at a time of grief.
He prayed for the peaceful repose of the deceased and asked God to grant the bereaved families the strength, patience and courage to bear their losses.
Beyond the condolence visits, Dr. Hafiz also visited some sick and elderly residents in different parts of Kankia, where he personally checked on their condition and wellbeing.
He encouraged those battling illness and reassured elderly members of the community that they remained valued and remembered, stressing the importance of standing with people not only during moments of celebration but also when they need support most.
According to him, public service should go beyond official duties and responsibilities, insisting that genuine leadership must also be reflected in compassion, solidarity and personal connection with the people.
Dr. Hafiz said maintaining close ties with members of the community remained important, particularly in times of bereavement, sickness and other challenges that affect families.
The visits were warmly received by the beneficiaries, who expressed appreciation for the gesture and described Dr. Hafiz’s presence as a reflection of concern for the welfare of ordinary members of the community.
For the families who received him, the visit offered a moment of comfort amid grief, while the sick and elderly residents welcomed the opportunity to interact with a public official who took time to personally inquire about their wellbeing.
Dr. Hafiz reaffirmed his commitment to remaining accessible to the people of Kankia and continuing to support efforts aimed at improving their welfare, dignity and overall development.
