Darul Salati Foundation of Nigeria celebrated the third edition of a special day dedicated to the parents of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him).
The founder of the foundation, Imam Sheikh Zubair Al-Muhammadi, highlighted the purpose of the event as a means to honor and continue the legacy of the parents of Prophet Muhammad (May the blessings of Allah be with him).
The event, which took place in collaboration between Darul Salati Foundation and the Council of Islamic Gospel Singers of Nigeria, Kano branch, was held at Hausawa Mandawari in Kano metropolis.
Imam Sheikh Zubair emphasized that all living beings, including humans, continue to benefit from the blessings bestowed upon Prophet Muhammad, his parents, and all his companions.
Quoting Quranic verses and prophetic traditions, Imam Sheikh Zubair Al-Muhammadi affirmed that there is no creation more blessed than Prophet Muhammad. He strongly denounced any negative comments made against the parents of the Prophet, stating that anyone who speaks ill of them will face consequences in the afterlife.
The Islamic scholar further reiterated the countless blessings of Prophet Muhammad’s parents, Sayyadi Abdullahi and Sayyidatuna Amina (Peace be upon them), underscoring their role in ushering into the world the greatest of all creations, Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him).
The event was graced by prominent figures including Khalifa Alh Malam Abdurra’uf Bala Rabi’u, Jarman Sarkin Sharifan Kano, Sarkin Sharifan Gwale Alh Abba Shareef Danwali, Imam Aliyu Bn Saminu Khadimul ilmi Wassalati, Alh Nasiru Shifa’ullinas, Ambassador Dr. Alh Nasiru Isa, and Barrister AU Zaria, among others.
As part of the commemoration, a special dinner was organized, culminating in the sacrifice of a large camel in honor of the Prophet’s parents, invoking blessings from the Divine.
