The Chief of Army Staff, Lt-Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja, yesterday dispelled swirling death rumors by personally briefing President Bola Tinibu on his health.
In a closed-door meeting at the Presidential Villa, the Army Chief assured the President he was fit and fully committed to his duties.
This comes after days of speculation over his well-being, which Lagbaja dismissed as baseless.
His appearance and interaction with the President have laid to rest any doubts, reaffirming his active role in safeguarding national security.
