In a generous move aimed at alleviating economic challenges, Abdul Samad Rabiu, the Chairman of BUA Group, has declared a significant 50% increase in salaries for all employees.
Mohammed Wali, BUA’s Head of Human Resources, conveyed this announcement during a statement in Lagos on Sunday.
Rabiu, in a memo, emphasized that the salary adjustment is a proactive measure to support employees amidst the current economic difficulties faced by the country. This gesture reflects the commitment of BUA Group to prioritize the welfare of its workforce.
The salary raise will be extended to all staff members, including both permanent and non-permanent employees, and is scheduled to take effect from February 1, 2024. The Human Resources and Finance departments are actively processing the increase to ensure its seamless integration into the February 2024 payroll.
