The National Assembly moved a step closer to bolstering technical education in Nigeria as a bill to establish a Federal College of Education (Technical) in Faskari, Katsina State, passed its second reading in the House of Representatives.
Hon Shehu Dalhatu Tafoki, representing Faskari/Kankara/Sabuwa Federal Constituency, championed the bill, emphasizing its potential to enhance educational opportunities in Katsina and the broader North West Zone.
Tafoki urged the House to expedite the bill’s passage, underscoring its importance for national development and the advancement of Nigeria’s technical education sector.
