Sources revealed that the victim, who had arrived at the hospital with her son, Nasiru Aliyu, and cousin, Aliyu Garba, from Yar Gaya Village, Dawakin Kudu LGA, went missing while awaiting medical consultation on February 19, 2025.

Efforts to find her within the hospital premises proved futile, prompting her family to report the case at the Dawanau Divisional Police Headquarters.
