KTSIEC Announces Results for Katsina State Local Government Elections

The Chairman of the Katsina State Independent Electoral Commission (KTSIEC), Alhaji Lawal Alhassan Faskari, has officially announced the results of the Local Government Council elections held across the 34 Local Government Areas of the state.

Speaking during a press briefing, Alhaji Faskari expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for the successful conduct of the elections. He commended the electorate, stakeholders, and election observers for their cooperation, which ensured a smooth and credible electoral process.

“We deeply appreciate the dedication of our ad-hoc staff, management team, and security agencies who worked tirelessly to uphold the integrity of the elections,” he stated.

He further acknowledged the support of election monitors, political parties, and the general public in making the exercise transparent and peaceful.
