Yari commended Governor Idris and party leaders for their efforts to mobilise support for the APC, expressing confidence that their cooperation would strengthen the party’s position ahead of the crucial 2027 polls.
He said the Presidential Campaign Council was ready to work with individuals, groups and other stakeholders committed to Tinubu’s re-election, irrespective of their positions within the party.
According to him, building a broad coalition of supporters would be essential to achieving the APC’s objectives in the forthcoming elections.
The APC campaign chief acknowledged the challenges confronting Nigeria, particularly insecurity, but maintained that the Tinubu administration was making efforts to address the situation.
He also called for collective responsibility in tackling insecurity, urging Nigerians to strengthen their relationship with God and contribute to efforts aimed at restoring peace and stability across the country.
Idris: Kebbi Benefiting from Tinubu’s Administration
In his remarks, Governor Nasir Idris reaffirmed Kebbi State’s commitment to the APC, expressing confidence in the party’s prospects ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Idris described the visit by the Presidential Campaign Council delegation as a welcome development, noting that the presence of party leaders and traditional rulers demonstrated the importance of consultation and unity.
He disclosed that the emirs had agreed to gather at the palace to receive the delegation and demonstrate solidarity with the visiting team.
The governor also pointed to federal government projects and development initiatives implemented under Tinubu’s administration, saying Kebbi had benefited from the president’s programmes.
He maintained that the projects had reinforced the state government’s support for the president and expressed confidence that Kebbi would continue to stand with the APC as preparations for the 2027 elections gather momentum.
Idris urged Nigerians to acknowledge the Federal Government’s development efforts and support its agenda.
The engagement underscores the APC’s ongoing consultations with governors, traditional institutions and party stakeholders as political activities intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections.
