At least two fighters of the Jamā’at Ahl as-Sunnah lid-Da’wah wa’l-Jihād otherwise known as Boko Haram, Awana Malam Kurama and Tahir Isa have surrendered to the troops of Operation Hadin Kai in the North East of Borno state At.

It was gathered that the two insurgents surrendered troops of 21 armoured Brigade Bama after fleeing their camp in Bahrain village in Sambisa Forest on May 8, 2024.
