Announcing this, the Commissioner for Information and Internal Security, Prof. Usman Tar, stated that the projects align with the administration’s 25-Year Development Plan, 10-Year Strategic Transformation framework, urban renewal program, and infrastructure development master plan. He emphasized that these initiatives are key components of Governor Zulum’s “Building Borno Back Better” mantra.

The housing projects, comprising both high-end and low-cost units, are designed to provide quality shelter for the citizens and residents of Borno State, further cementing Maiduguri’s position as the regional hub of Northeast Nigeria.

Key stakeholders, including senior government officials, party leaders, private sector representatives, civil society groups, and the general public, are invited to the commissioning ceremony to demonstrate their support for the Zulum administration’s developmental achievements.

These schools are expected to reduce the number of out-of-school children in the state by an impressive 70%, addressing the over 2 million children previously unenrolled.

Governor Zulum’s administration continues to make transformative strides in education, housing, and infrastructure development, showcasing its commitment to the sustainable rebuilding and progress of Borno State.
