The Borno State Government has signed ₦837 million contract for the construction of a 400-capacity lecture theatre at Al-Ansar University, Maiduguri.
The lecture theatre will include offices and laboratories to enhance academic learning and research at the institution.
Commissioner for Works and Housing, Engineer Mustapha Gubio, signed the contract on behalf of the state government, while a representative of Damula Investment Company Limited signed on behalf of the contractor.
Engr Gubio urged the company to adhere to the 12-month completion timeline and deliver a quality project in line with specifications.
The contract signing ceremony was witnessed by the ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Engr Abubakar Ali Baware, and other senior directors.
