Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, has reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the judiciary by donating 19 brand-new Toyota Camry 2024 model vehicles to Judges and Khadis in the state.
The vehicles were handed over during a brief ceremony at the Government House, with Governor Zulum represented by his Deputy Chief of Staff, Dr. Babagana Mallumbe. The keys were presented to the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barrister Hauwa Abubakar, for onward distribution to the judicial officers.
Dr. Mallumbe highlighted the significance of the donation, describing it as part of the state government’s efforts to enhance the judicial process and ensure citizens’ access to justice. “This gesture underscores His Excellency’s unwavering support for the judiciary as we rebuild Borno and its institutions after years of insurgency,” he remarked.
Barrister Hauwa Abubakar expressed gratitude on behalf of the judiciary, acknowledging the governor’s dedication to fostering justice and good governance. “This donation is a monumental step toward strengthening our judiciary and ensuring the delivery of justice to all,” she said.
