As Kaura Namoda South prepares for its State Assembly bye-election slated for Saturday, August 16, 2025, the Commissioner of Police, Zamfara State Command, CP Ibrahim Balarabe Maikaba, has embarked on a strategic security visit to the area.
On Tuesday, August 12, CP Maikaba met with sister security agencies and key community stakeholders in Kaura Namoda to address prevailing security concerns and chart a coordinated plan for peaceful polls.
Reaffirming the Command’s unwavering commitment to peace and safety, the CP assured residents that robust security measures are in place to safeguard lives and property before, during, and after the election.
He appealed for continued cooperation from community leaders and residents, stressing that lasting security requires joint effort in tackling all forms of criminality.
The Zamfara State Police Command reiterated its resolve to maintain a peaceful environment across the state.
