In a proactive move, the Command has deployed additional personnel and logistics to strategic locations, stepping up patrols and surveillance to deter crime and keep communities safe throughout the festive period. From busy markets and worship centres to highways and residential areas, police presence has been reinforced to stay ahead of criminal activities that often spike during celebrations.
The Commissioner of Police, Bello Shehu, said the operation is about more than security—it is about peace of mind. He urged residents to remain alert, watch over their belongings, and stay aware of their surroundings, especially in crowded public spaces where criminals may attempt to take advantage of the season’s bustle.
