The rational behind establishment of School Based Management Committees (SBMCs) was to seek for improve accountability and educational outcomes through the involvement of teachers, parents, and students in school management and decision making.
Recently, the SBMC from Anwaru Islamiyya Primary School paid a courtesy visits to the office of the Education Secretary of Nguru Local Education Authority, Mallam Hamisu Ado.
On arrival, the leaders of the delegation Mallam Umaru Magaji and Mallam Isa Garba respectively stated that their visit was to seek for more collaboration with the office of the Education Secretary.
According to them, some weeks back three schools including Anwaru Islamiyya Primary School accessed grant intended for executing project that will inturn contribute to the development of the school.
In his welcome address, Mallam Hamisu Ado advised the benefiting SBMCs to use the grand judiciously for the development of the schools.
Adding that, the state Government through the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, State Universal Basic Education will continue to stand on your behalf particularly when you are in need .
