Yobe State Pilgrims Hajj Commission has conducted an important meeting chaired by the Executive Chairman, Alhaji Mai Aliyu Usman.
During the meeting, the Chairman briefed members of the Hajj Committee on the comprehensive plans put in place for the successful coordination and welfare of the intending pilgrims for the 2025 Hajj exercise.
Mai Aliyu says, the state government has already provided all essential items to ease the journey for the intending pilgrims, which include hand luggage, uniforms for both men and women, as well as identification badges.
This proactive support demonstrates the government’s commitment to ensuring the comfort, safety, and smooth coordination of the 2025 Hajj exercise.
He emphasized the commission’s commitment to ensuring a smooth and spiritually fulfilling pilgrimage for all intending pilgrims from Yobe State.
During the meeting, the Executive Chairman of the Commission, alongside members of the Hajj Committee, received their vaccinations administered by the Hajj medical personnel.
This exercise marks the commencement of the vaccination phase for the 2025 Hajj preparations, ensuring the health and safety of all officials and intending pilgrims.
In attendance at the meeting were the Amirul Hajj, His Royal Highness Alhaji Abubakar Muhammad Ibn Grema (Mai Tikau), also present were Mohammed Mairami, as the Secretary of the Committee; Alhaji Gana Fantami, a committee member; Senator Alkali Jajere, Member; and Justice Uwani, Member, among other members of the Hajj Committees.
The meeting also served as a platform for committee members to deliberate on important strategies and share insights to enhance the efficiency of the entire operation.
