Yobe State Ministry of Works Achieves Significant Milestones in 2024

The Commissioner ministry of works Engr. Umar Wakil Duddaye, has said that, they have achieves a very significant milestones in 2024 in the ministry works.

The commissioner said that, he proud to highlight its notable achievements in infrastructural development and other services. The administration of Governor Mai Mala Buni has demonstrated exceptional commitment to the state’s growth, earning widespread acclaim from its citizens.

According to him, the Ministry has successfully completed a lot of projects like the dual carriageway  road from Damaturu-Kalallawa a 25-kilometer road constructed at a cost of N1,519,787.27.

Also the road from Jajimaji-Karasuwa a vital road connecting Jajimaji to Karasuwa, constructed at a cost of N2,025,349,864.95.
– *Chumbusko-Tagali Road 10-kilometer road constructed at a cost of N3,372,110,570.75.

Damagum Town road and drainage systems constructed in Fune LGA, at a cost of N530,362,211.96, 2.6 kilometers of roads and drainage systems constructed in Potiskum town at a cost of N582,939,420.91 and others.

In addition to the completed projects, the Ministry is currently working on other ongoing project like the one from Geidam-Bukarti at a cost of N1,149,115,135.94.  rehabilitation of Kanamma junction in Yunusari LGA, at a cost of N2,635,696,348.32.  Construction of the road from Nguru to Balanguwa, at a cost of N1,074,014,000 and others.

The Commissioner used the forum to commend Yobe state Governor Mai Mala Buni for the support which enabled the success of the Ministry in the outgoing year 2024.
