Yobe Promotes 1000 Teachers

The Executive Chairman of the Yobe State Teaching Service Board, Alh. Yakubu Dokshi has said that a total of 1, 000 teaching staff from the agency have been promoted to various levels and grades. “I am happy to announce to you that a total of 1000 teaching staff across our various schools have been promoted,”

In a press released by Fatima Zakari Baba the information officer to Yobe state teaching service board said, the chairman of the board  revealed this during a management meeting of the agency in Damaturu.

Alhaji Yakubu Dokshi said, the promotion of the teaching staff was part of the effort of the Buni administration through the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education to boost the performance of the beneficiaries for better teaching service delivery.

He further stressed that the management of the board remained committed to ensuring that teachers are given the required support and are motivated to execute the mandate given to them effectively.

Dokshi commended Governor Mai Mala Buni and the commissioner of basic and secondary education for their commitment towards the development of education in the state.
