Yobe Pilgrims’ Commission Remits Over N5bn to NAHCON for 2025 Hajj

The Yobe State Pilgrims Commission has successfully completed the sale of Hajj seats for the 2025 pilgrimage, demonstrating its readiness to ensure a smooth spiritual journey for the state’s intending pilgrims.

In a significant development, the commission has remitted over ₦5 billion to the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) as payment for Yobe pilgrims.

Announcing the remittance during a key meeting with local government fare collectors and Hajj stakeholders, the Executive Chairman of the Commission, Alhaji Mai Aliyu, reaffirmed the body’s dedication to providing a seamless and comfortable Hajj experience for all registered pilgrims.

Alhaji Mai Aliyu emphasized the commission’s commitment to ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of pilgrims throughout the exercise.

This milestone underscores Yobe State’s proactive approach to ensuring its citizens fulfill their spiritual obligations with ease and dignity.
