Vice President Kashim Shettima has extended heartfelt condolences to the family of late Alhaji Ahmadu Kurfi (Maradin Katsina), who passed away at the age of 93.
During a condolence visit in Katsina, Shettima, representing President Tinibu, praised the remarkable legacy of the late elder statesman.
He highlighted Alhaji Kurfi’s pivotal role in Nigeria’s democratic evolution, particularly as the Executive Secretary of the defunct Federal Electoral Commission (FEDECO) during the Second Republic.
Describing him as a patriot of unparalleled integrity, Shettima urged the family to find solace in the impactful life he led in service to the nation.
