“Sudden cardiac death often stems from predisposing conditions like coronary artery disease, high cholesterol, and hypertension,” Ifebi explained. “This initiative underscores our commitment to saving lives and improving the health of our senior citizens.”

The BASA event, which included a socio-cultural celebration at the Daura NAF Base Sports Ground, fostered unity and esprit-de-corps among personnel, families, and the host community.

Ifebi praised Air Marshal Abubakar’s leadership, stating, “His welfare-driven policies ensure a highly motivated force and a healthier future for our veterans.”

This initiative cements NAF’s dedication to the well-being of its personnel and their families, setting a benchmark for veteran care.
